Professional CV By placing an order with Winning CV, you (the customer) are accepting and agreeing to be fully bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Winning CV website. This does not affect your statutory rights. All orders are returned by secure email.

ORDERING CONSIDERATIONS

Ordering (General)
All orders are subject to terms & conditions. By placing an order, Winning CV is assuming that customers have read, understood & will abide by Winning CV Terms & Conditions.

Ordering & IT considerations
Winning CV uses Microsoft Word (MS Word). Winning CV cannot guarantee the compatibility of each system or application but requests customers to check their computer / system / application compatibility before ordering.

Ordering: PayPal Information
PayPal Payment Processing is a popular and secure payment system. It is uses by many companies to transact payments securely. PayPal is available for most countries worldwide. For security reasons, PayPal is unable to take payment for a small number of countries. If you are unsure, please enquire before ordering.

Order Processing & Application Form
A Winning CV Application Form is automatically sent to all customers upon ordering / payment. All completed Application Forms (optional), existing CVs or CV notes need to be returned to Winning CV. Please include your name, address & order / payment reference details with the return of your order. All orders are returned by secure email.

Ordering Timescales
Orders comprise a CV & two versions of covering letters (excluding CV Updates). Winning CV aims to fulfil orders within a reasonable amount of time, usually up to 5 full working days. There may be certain circumstances when orders will take longer to complete or if more personal attention is required.

Ordering: Extending Lead-Times
There maybe some unforeseen delays in fulfilling orders. These are likely to be factors beyond the reasonable control of Winning CV. Winning CV would rather take a little bit longer to achieve the desired outcome because quality & being able to customise your order is critical to the whole process. Winning CV will try its very best to
notify you in advance of any potential extension to lead times & manage your expectations accordingly.

Quality Process: Disclaimer
1) Every effort is made to ensure quality at all times. Winning CV does not accept responsibility for any errors
(i.e. spelling mistakes) & omissions (i.e. words missing) once the final CV draft has been approved by the customer.

2) Any quality issues are normally addressed by an effective proof-reading process. It is perfectly reasonable
for all customers to assume responsibility for checking the final CV to ensure the Winning CV order meets their
own personal requirements.

Order Completion
Once the final draft has been approved by the customer, the order is deemed to be completed & will be duly returned to the customer. After the order is deemed to be completed, no further work will be carried out on the order.

INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS & CONSIDERATIONS

Information supplied by customers
Information supplied to Winning CV used in the formulation of a CV & covering letter(s) must be true, up-to-date & accurate. Winning CV accepts no liability should there be any mis-representation of the information supplied to it by its customers. The information must be complete & as detailed as possible to maximise 'CV quality' & ensure quicker order completion.

Requesting Additional Information
Winning CV may at any point request further information or clarification of any details relevant to the Ordering or CV writing process. Any order will not be completed until any additional information requests have been satisfied. Ensuring 'quality' is critical to the success of the whole process, for customers to achieve the best results
possible & to give extra value for money.

GUARANTEES & PROVISIONS

True & fair representation
Winning CV guarantees to provide a true & fair representation of a personal profile based on the information supplied to it by its customers.

Guarantee: To significantly increase the chances of winning an interview
Winning CV aims to get customers 'there' or 'thereabouts' in terms of interview selection based on the information supplied by each customer.

External job market factors: Disclaimer
Winning CV cannot guarantee an interview at any stage of this process, as selection for interview is largely dependent on external factors relating to the job market, recruiters, recruitment process & any other circumstances that Winning CV has no control over. Winning CV accepts no responsibility whatsoever for the outcome of the CV & covering letters in terms of interview selection.

Refunds & complaints
Winning CV strives for complete customer satisfaction for the services they have received. Any complaints will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are discretionary & will have to be mutually agreed between Winning CV & the customer. Any refunds will be calculated on a percentage basis of the total amount of the original order placed. Winning CV may also reserve the right to charge an administration fee to cover reasonable administration costs of GBP10 pounds Sterling for refunds where no work has been undertaken in the event that customers may change their mind for whatever reason (i.e. this is just a formal refund transaction in the event of customers changing their mind rather than making a formal complaint). Again, if a formal complaint has been received by Winning CV, each complaint will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Every complaint will be discussed in a professional manner and any refund given will have to be mutually agreed and remains completely at the discretion of Winning CV.

WINNING CV: WEBSITE & PROVISION OF SERVICES

Winning CV reserves the right to amend the Winning CV website, its services and associated Terms & Conditions at anytime & without notice. This can effect changes to the operation of its website & the provision of services.

Using the Winning CV website
Winning CV will not be liable for any delays, errors, omissions or any other issues affecting any order placed, the running of the Website & the provision of any of its services. Winning CV will always try to provide the highest level of service possible, manage customer expectations & ensure quality at all times.

Refusal of business
Winning CV reserves the right to refuse business for whatever reason it deems fit. This could be down to particularly busy periods, annual leave, over-subscription or we feel that Winning CV would be unable to offer the level of expertise that a customer's CV deserves. Winning CV may also reserve the right not to disclose the reason for refusal, as there maybe certain situations beyond the control of the company. Should payment have been taken & Winning CV is unable to fulfil the order for whatever reason, a full refund shall be given.

DATA PROTECTION & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Confidentiality & Disclosure
Your information is held on a strictly confidential basis. No information will be knowingly or willingly disclosed to any third party. Winning CV is not liable in any circumstances should any customer's personal information be disclosed unknowingly to another person or third party. All complaints about information disclosure should be addressed to the Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC). Intellectual property rights
Any work carried out by Winning CV shall remain the 'intellectual property' of Winning CV until full payment is received or where a reduced payment fee has been agreed/received (i.e. in the event of a formal complaint being logged). Any full refund given will count as non-payment & any work carried out will therefore remain the 'intellectual property' of Winning CV. No authorisation (implied or otherwise) will be given to use or make copies of this information in any circumstance whatsoever unless full payment has been made.

LIABILITY & EXCLUSIONS

No liability for Winning CV in any circumstances
Winning CV is NOT liable for any costs, damages, compensation or things like lost job or business opportunities, loss of business, any miscellaneous expenses or any consequential losses. This applies in all circumstances regardless of claim.

WINNING CV: IT CONSIDERATIONS

IT Considerations (1): Computer Applications - We use Microsoft Word (MS Word) in 'Compatibility Mode'
Winning CV uses the well-known Microsoft Word (MS Word) applications to write all CVs. We place this package into 'compatibility mode' to ensure the Microsoft Word (MS Word) package is compatible with as many systems and word processing applications as possible. As the customer, please verify whether or not the computer package used is compatible with Microsoft Word (MS Word). On this basis, no responsibility can be claimed against Winning CV from the customer because it is clear the onus is on the customer to check systems compatibility before ordering. Whilst in 'compatibility mode', Winning CV also does not accept responsibility for minor formatting errors or layout changes that may occur because we have taken reasonable steps to place the document into 'compatibility mode'. Any minor format changes or tweaks would have to be undertaken by the customer if the application they have used is not fully compatible with Microsoft Word (MS Word).

IT Considerations (2): Security & Website Hosting
Winning CV uses a secure server operated by a reputable 'website hosting company' with the latest anti-virus & firewall software technology. Every care has been taken to choose this reputable 'website hosting company' for the peace of mind of Winning CV & its customers. IT Considerations (3): Third Party Activities
Winning CV cannot be held responsible for the activities of third parties who seek to undermine the operation of this website & its services. Winning CV cannot be held liable for any IT faults (or other IT issues) during the provision & use of its services via a third party web hosting company. Winning CV reasonably expects all customers to have taken reasonable precautions to secure their computers, email & Internet browsers against the possible threat of third party activities (i.e. virus attacks, worms, spyware, etc.).

IT Considerations (4): Attaching CVs & Uploading CVs To Third Party Websites
Certain third party websites (i.e. recruitment consultants) set limits to the size of files to be uploaded. Limits are set at 100KB or 130KB for example - these may prevent CVs being uploaded if a CV file is larger than the limit specified. Winning CV does not set these limits by third parties and is therefore not responsible for the failure to upload a CV to any third party website. Winning CV is also not responsible for the failure of any customer CV to attach to an email when forwarding completed CVs on to other third parties (people / organisations).
